Britannia School Trip to La Palma 2007

Day 1, Los Cristianos and the boat!

Some of the gang had been waiting for a while as they were excited and were packed for a week forgetting that we were only going for 3 nights!

We had a mixture of music... from the Macarena to the Superman (Note - Sam is still not feeling he wants to get involved as he lays on the floor.)

As we approached La Palma the gang went outside to see the views of the island by night

Jimmy was slightly more excited then other by the look on his face in this picture.

We found our bus and got on it to head to the hotel.

(Left) After getting breakfast..... we ended up by a church on top of the hills where we had a rest from the exciting bus journey.

(Right) We were at one of the points in La Palma where we had panoramic views of the capital Santa Cruz de La Palma.

Looking in the other direction, we had views of the hills.... beautiful!

We also visited the Pottery Factory... Kamiar looking rather interested!

It was all about Columbus!

This was a very interesting trip around the island... Rebecca H and Charli seem to be enjoying it!

ohh dear.... I think its safe to say the island tour was very interesting!

Everyone soon woke up as we got to the Volcano, (Right) Alice Krystina and Layla looking like they are enjoying it.

The guys chilling out before we got ready to go out for an evening meal.

We all ended up at a Mexican Restaurant, where we ate loads of food ranging from Pizza's to Nachos to Fajitas and loads of Guacamoly.

Alice decided to dress up as a boy whilst Alex decided she wanted to get deep into her feminine side!

.... The Telescopes.

Our guide Robert was very interesting with some very interesting facts about Astronomy. The gang were highly interested as shown in the picture!

As we headed back down the gang looking light headed by the altitude..... I think Aron more so then anyone else!

Alex was feeling tired, but didnt know whether it would be safe to fall asleep! she soon found out the answer!

Cheyne had the pleasure of dolling Alex up with her selection of cosmetics.

It was time for a dip in the hotel pool, by the looks of it, it was too cold for Rebecca D but Krystina and Alex managed just fine.

But Krystina didnt really have much choice as she was pushed in fully clothed!

... It looked like the angels were all ready to go out... I hope Charlie didnt mind!

We ended up at a lovely Italian Restaurant where we ate Pasta, Pizzas and Lasagnes

After the meal it was time for a trip to the arcade where we spent some serious money!

The sea was slightly rough, if you look carefully on the pictures and where the horizon is you will get an idea!

(Left) Wasn't long untill some of us came around and went out the enjoy the views | (Right) Charli decided against it and decided to sleep all the way home.
