Sofia´s Weddings Bridal Show 2007

The Hairdressing and Beauty Therapy students at Britannia School were delighted when they were asked to take part in the Sofia´s Weddings Bridal Show, at the Adeje Grand Hotel, in May 2007.

The organisers invited them to provide the hairstyling and makeup for the models taking part in this fantastic show, and all of the girls jumped at the chance to be part of a very exciting day.

Working under heavy pressure, and tight catwalk changes, the girls’ professionalism shone through (under the watchful eye of  tutors Sue and Claire, of course!), as they styled and coiffed hair ups, plaits, curls, etc, and applied make up to ensure that the “brides” shone and sparkled on their special day!  (Including fathers and mothers, bridegrooms and bridesmaids!)

Well done to everyone, the work was of a very professional standard.

And a DOUBLE well done – Britannia School has just successfully passed a very rigorous inspection from the Award Body, City and Guilds, which has placed the stamp of approval on the standards reached in the Course.
